Greenock Morton lost 4-1 to Livingston in the Scottish Championship on Friday night. The result leaves Morton 10th in the table with only one point from their opening five matches.
Livingston took the lead after 35 minutes through Liam Polworth. Robbie Muirhead doubled the advantage just before half-time, finishing from a Tete Sinclair assist. Michael O'Halloran pulled a goal back for Morton nine minutes into the second half, scoring from a George Gillespie cross.
Efe Danso restored Livingston's two-goal cushion in the 77th minute. Jordan Doherty completed the scoring late on, firing a right-footed shot from the centre of the box into the bottom corner following a corner.
Morton goalkeeper Elyh Harrison made a notable save from Stevie May in the second half, pushing a shot over the bar. Kerr Robertson had two attempts for the hosts, heading wide from a corner and firing a long-range effort off target.
The defeat extends Morton's winless run to five games, with their only point coming from a 1-1 draw at Ayr United. They have conceded eight goals while scoring just three this season, leaving them 12 points behind leaders Stenhousemuir.
